Works

Here you’ll find a selection of my paintings, encaustic pieces, and mixed media works, organized in series.

Dreamed Archipelago

Rooted in Alfred Russel Wallace’s journeys yet reshaped through personal imagination, this series reflects on what has been lost, transformed, or forgotten. Figurative paintings in oil and acrylic depict surreal encounters, while encaustic abstracts evoke seas, currents, and fragments of heritage. Together they ask how we might dream the archipelago anew. Click for more >>

Urban Reveries – Nature’s Untold Tales

Here the city becomes a stage, and animals gather as an ensemble — feasting, conversing, or disguising themselves. Fantastical yet nostalgic, the scenes echo childhood tales and half-forgotten classics. Blending parody with reflection, this series explores how urban life reshapes the way we imagine the wild that once filled our stories. Click for more >>

The Wild at Our Side

Animals slip quietly into the overlooked corners of the city — rooftops, gardens, waterways. These works blur human and wildlife lives, weaving humor and small surprises into everyday moments. Each painting unfolds like a playful fable, reminding us that the wild is never absent, only hidden in plain sight. Click for more >>

Stigmatized Portraits

Crows, foxes, wild boars, wolves — each looks back with quiet defiance. Their portraits, bright and meticulous, bear stickers and symbols: fragments of fear, affection, and myth. Playful yet unsettling, these works expose how culture layers meaning onto animals, leaving space for viewers to question, unlearn, and reimagine perception. Click for more >>

Second Nature

This series reimagines masterpieces with animals in iconic roles. A playful tribute to the classics, it’s also an exercise in learning, imitation, and reinvention through painting. Click for more >>

Archipelago in Wax

This series explores islands of imagination shaped in encaustic — wax carrying memory, myth, and material experiment. Each work is part of an unfolding archipelago, still in progress. Updates will follow as the series grows, reflecting both process and discovery in wax. (Coming soon)
